During the first phase of training a guy who was sighting in his rifle at the range said “I guess the zombies would probably be better off staying away from those things”. I think with “Mike” who is on the Fort Worth PD behind his 300 WM he is surely correct.
Here is my 7mm Mag built on a Stiller action, mounted in a AI AX chassis, and topped with my 5-20 power Huskemaw scope. I was the little guy on the playground with it, but got consistent first or second round hits out to 1600 yards. My scope only shows 1400 on the turret, then four hashmarks, I had go past 1400 back around and pass 1000 again to get out there. I will put a rail with more offset and try later closer to two thousand yards. As a side note this is the same scope that was mounted on a rifle that I accidentally dropped out of a 19 foot tower blind last hunting season. Didn’t even change zero.
Any of you that know Bill also know that he is a excellent shot. Here he decided to take my 7mm and go for a smaller than man size target at 1000 yards off hand. First two shots were danger close and the third one hit perfectly dead center. We all witnessed it. I did not even consider trying to duplicate that!!!!
Our range spiders. These things are huge, and awesome.
And that would be me in the middle at Christmas a long time ago. Making sure the camera man don’t make no funny moves. LOL.
