Jim came out and took a class with me before a stone sheep hunt he had coming up. Turns out he got the second largest stone sheep taken within the past forty years. It scored 184 2/8ths, and had the largest bases of any ever scored. It will be in the top 15 of any ever scored also. I worked up a 140 grain Berger load for his 6.5 and he put it right where it needed to be.
These things are amazingly tasty. Tap the link below for the video

Had to use two sets of shooting sticks to get over the brush and angle to get a 250 yard shot on this nice little blesbok.
Didn’t even expect to see one of these little guys, but one presented me with a nice 15 yard broad side shot and I did not hesitate.
This was right before Joe and I decided to play elephant poop football. LOL
Best of The West owner Jack Peterson, Phil Conklin and I all got our impala within two hours of each other. Great times….
After two days of searching I finally got this beautiful 28″ waterbuck at 575 yards. All these animals should be on Best of The West after January 2014.
