I’ll update after demos with pics of shot up hogs hopefully.
I got invited to go to Royse City Texas and shoot with the Brushy Creek Retrievers crew on Sunday. Tim has set up a great little range right behind his house and we all had a ball shooting the various rifles all topped with Huskemaw 5-30 and 5-20 scopes. Everyone was making long range hit with no problem.
My IR Defense 35mm thermal scope kept the fun going after the sun went down. They are deadly little machines in the dark. definitely no place to hide.
Bullseye Cameras kept travel time down to a minimum both day and night.
After dark we I brought out my lightweight AR with the 35mm IR Defense thermal scope attached. I wasn’t really surprised when everyone was able to keep all their shots within small black dot at 100 yards. Clarity on these things is unreal.
What I was surprised by was how well my Bullseye camera system worked after dark. It literally lit the target up like it was still daylight.
Can’t wait ’till next time.
OH, and thanks for some delicious ELK FAJITAS!
Second round hit at 1325
First round hit at one mile…….. I think I will pack my S@”t and go home. I can only go down from here.
And here displayed by our friendly model “Aussi Chris” is a beautiful 6.5 Creedmoor built on a Stiller action and bedded into one of the new MagPul stocks. Hydro dipping courtesy of Randy at Cowtown Hydro. And of course one of my Huskemaw scopes.
We will have this and other rifles for both day and night shooting at the SHOT Show.
