And here displayed by our friendly model “Aussi Chris” is a beautiful 6.5 Creedmoor built on a Stiller action and bedded into one of the new MagPul stocks. Hydro dipping courtesy of Randy at Cowtown Hydro. And of course one of my Huskemaw scopes.
We will have this and other rifles for both day and night shooting at the SHOT Show.
I’ve made a few mods to my project gun. Still far from finished, but I did want to see how it shot. Just want to make sure it’s accurate enough to make solid hits to 100 yards. No groups were thrown out because of a flinch or “bad” shot.
I have noticed that it does produce a nasty little muzzle signature.
Still pretty small. Definitely going to put a much smaller sight on it. And a smaller buttstock. Probably a Troy once I do the paperwork.
25 yard groups. Two threes and on two to zero. None of the groups were thrown out because of a flinch or bad shot.
100 yard groups with various ammo. I think adequate.
These forums are intended to be used for research. They are not for idle chit chat, arguing, opinions or stating what favorite equipment we may have.
Later I will add some more entertaining forums, however right now I feel there is a real need for a no non-sense area for research. Especially for novice shooters.
Also, I’ve noticed on some forums newcomers are disrespected when asking questions and that is not the way to grow our sport.
I am striving to get qualified people to share their data and experience here to help members and guest get the results they seek in the most efficient manner possible. I welcome your input, however when you contribute please state your results, but also the data that brought you to that conclusion.
I will do my best to create an environment where serious and experienced shooters can get information, but also where newcomers can feel comfortable asking questions.
Please feel free to contact me for things you would like to see or improvements to our forum.
